2012年が2011年後に来るので: Questions to get you going...
- If 2011 had a theme for you, what would you name it? How far are you willing go to get what you want?
- What were the lessons for the past year? A wish list is also a list of goals that requires special attention, to put myself first, to not be afraid to admit what I want and go after it, that people are not as open to risk taking as one might assume, to be open to learning from unexpected sources and the power of the 8-month emergency fund.
- What do you need to let go of or complete before the year is over? Realize that people still believe that "you working" is more comforting than knowing that "you have saved the money to survive through a period of not working while you go exploring" and that I need to go back to work a.s.a.p.
- What do you want for yourself in 2012, and how will you make that happen? For 2012, I hope to make my parents happy; go to Washington D.C. to see my best friend and cousins; to be more logical in my aggressive all or nothing approach towards finding the company I'd love to work for and to either find a company I'd like to work for here or move out of Canada and start re-building my 8month emergency fund How? by starting to loosen my emotional attachment to Toronto and be more realistic about my current situation
- What are your personal learning and development goals for the year? To start being more objective, to reach out to my old friends and to keep a balance between work and family life; to be more realistic about "the company I'd like to work for" AND to not be overly positive or overly negative.
